Liz Dillon

I am Liz, a Certified Compassionate Inquiry Practitioner, drawn to this profound therapeutic approach when I first encountered Gabor Maté's work in 2020. The depth and authenticity of CI resonated deeply with my understanding of healing, leading me to immerse myself in the training and community before completing my certification in 2024.

My therapeutic journey spans nearly three decades, beginning with classical psychology studies and leading to qualification as a Drama & Movement Therapist (HCPC) in 2000. This early work was deeply informed by Jungian psychology and somatic awareness, providing a strong foundation for my therapeutic practice.

Over two decades I've worked in diverse settings including the NHS, HMP Holloway, Women's Aid and private practice while enriching my practice through multiple trainings including Yoga Teaching & Therapy, Trauma-informed Yoga, Grief Tending and Mindfulness. For the past 12 years, I've also facilitated women's yoga & meditation retreats and women's circles, spaces that have been enriched by bringing in elements of Compassionate Inquiry.

Through Compassionate Inquiry, I create a gentle yet powerful space for exploration, this approach allows us to explore present-day challenges with curiosity and compassion and trusting very much in each person's own inner wisdom.
