Monica Guha
Description
My own experience of burnout after two decades in health, alongside perimenopause, motherhood, and neurodivergence, led me back to myself through Compassionate Inquiry. This opened an understanding of spirit and connectedness to nature, which now grounds my healing.
This lived experience is underpinned by my background as a Registered Mental Health Nurse and Somatic Psychotherapist. A background in biomedical science brings together over twenty years of clinical experience spanning work and training in the UK and Australia, where I now reside, into an integrative, nervous system–based mind-body-spirit approach to healing.
My work weaves Compassionate Inquiry, parts work, and polyvagal theory to support deep, sustainable change. I work intuitively, gently, and with deep cultural safety, supporting individuals navigating motherhood, burnout, perimenopause, and ADHD, with a special interest in supporting my local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
Connection sits at the core of my presence, guiding people out of self-abandonment into a full life by showing them the wisdom to transform is already within them. Healing isn’t about changing who you are; it’s remembering who you’ve always been.
