Alan Majerol, LMHC

Alan is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in New York. He earned a master’s in counseling at CUNY City College in 2014 and has worked in outpatient substance abuse, primary care clinics, and private practice. 

Alan creates a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their emotions, perceptions, and beliefs. His therapeutic approach is deeply rooted in helping people trust their emotional experience and reconnect to their authentic self. Alan currently trains in Focusing Oriented Therapy and integrates other therapeutic modalities in his work. Additionally, he holds certification as a Level 1 Breath-Body-Mind Teacher. 

He accepts Aetna, United Healthcare, Oscar, Optum, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, and Cigna insurance for individuals residing in New York State.
