Kit Kline
Kit Kline is a registered social worker and clinical supervisor. Kit is a descendant of the Wampanoag people on her paternal side and the founder of Nature Based Therapy. She was born in Vancouver, Canada and migrated to Australia in 1982. Kit has over 20 years of experience working in the mental health and addictions sector both in mainstream and Aboriginal community healthcare. Kit has obtained a master's degree in social work, masters and BA degree in Indigenous studies as well as post-graduate studies in mental health, compassionate inquiry, clinical supervision, alcohol and other drugs, welfare, holistic healing, youth work and training and assessment.
Kit is very passionate about social and environmental justice and has founded health promotion charity, Nature Based Therapy Foundation, to create nature based social prescribing programs to support the health and wellbeing of both individuals, families, communities and the environment.
Kit is a mother of four children and lives on the surf coast of Victoria, Australia. She enjoys travelling, learning about different cultures, long road trips, bushwalking, kayaking and having picnics in nature,
