I want to share a bit about my journey and what fuels my passion for supporting others. I began my career as a Registered Nurse in Canada and the U.S., but I felt an undeniable call to explore something more that resonated deeply with my spirit. As Oprah Winfrey once said, "I believe every one of us is born with a purpose. No matter who you are, what you do, or how far you think you have to go, you have been tapped by a force greater than yourself to step into your God-given calling." Inspired by this, I took a leap of faith, moved abroad, and embraced the unknown.
This decision led me to the international schooling system. Over the past 25 years, I've had the privilege of living and working in France, Japan, Azerbaijan, Cambodia, China, Saudi Arabia, and now Belgium. Each place has been a profound chapter in my story, deepening my understanding of intercultural awareness and diversity. I am deeply grateful for these experiences.
Beyond my professional journey, I am a mother to two lovely boys and a wife to my best friend, Andy. Together, we've traveled the world, weaving our shared experiences into a rich tapestry of life. Our years in Saudi Arabia, in particular, hold a special place in my heart. There, I gained invaluable insights into Muslim culture and had the honor of serving the local community—a chapter I will always cherish.
Yoga is another cornerstone of my life. Since becoming a qualified teacher in 2005, I've found deep fulfillment in the practice. Yoga has taught me the art of mindfulness, which I strive to bring into every aspect of my personal and professional life.
My approach is shaped by nursing, education, and yoga. I believe in the power of presence, the beauty of vulnerability, and the strength of human connection. I am committed to creating a safe, nurturing space for my clients where we can reconnect with ourselves through curiosity and self-compassion.
