Agenda
About the Compassionate Inquiry process
The process of Compassionate Inquiry invites you to look at the stories you tell yourself unconsciously, and to recognize how these stories direct your life, affect your health, and generate suffering. Once you recognize the beliefs you have been carrying and where they originated, you can question the validity of those beliefs. Once questioned, you can open to the possibility of releasing identification with them, and of the hold they have on you. A new way of being emerges, leading to spontaneity, choice, expansion and freedom.
Created for:
Anyone above the age of 18 years seeking to heal their trauma, along with healthcare professionals who wish to develop their personal and professional skills.
Meet our Compassionate Inquiry Creators and Facilitators:
Dr. Gabor Maté: Retired physician, bestselling author, an internationally renowned speaker and the creator of the Compassionate Inquiry approach to psychotherapy.
Dr. Maté evolved his therapeutic approach over the course of a 20-year personal journey. It emerged as a synthesis of his work with patients in family practice, palliative care, and addiction rehabilitation. He later developed the system further while facilitating integration workshops focused on healing trauma through the use of psychedelics.
Sat Dharam Kaur N.D Co-creator and CEO of Compassionate Inquiry. She supported Dr. Gabor Maté in structuring the Compassionate Inquiry approach and developing the online training.
If you participate in the CI Experience on Zoom, please keep your camera on and microphone muted unless asked to unmute.
