Deborah Stewart Finestone
Deborah has been a Body-oriented Psychotherapist for 25 years. She has trained in a variety of modalities including psychodrama, body work, trauma work, and dream work. Recently she trained and became certified in the Compassionate Inquiry Process, a therapeutic methodology, developed and taught by Dr. Gabor Mate and Sat Dharam Kaur, ND. Deborah became certified as a Kundalini Yoga Teacher in 2006, and she focuses much of her yoga teaching on the Immune System and works with Cancer Patients/Survivors with yoga and using other therapeutic modalities. She has plumbed the depths of her own essence; correspondingly she brings a gentle approach, yet a discerning way. Typically this enables the “client” room to grow and move forward quickly. Deborah has a deeply spiritual base and a sense of humour in the face of life challenges. She understands the need to ask, “What is my meaning? What is my passion? She helps others learn to hear their body/mind/spirit wisdom and clear blockages that interfere with connection among these vital aspects. It is her conviction that one's Inner Healer can be activated when the body/mind/spirit aspects are linked and connected.
“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely, to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.” --RUMI
